Job Description
3 positions (day, evening, night shift)

Serves as a work leader for assigned Security Officers to ensure that work assignments are carried out appropriately and in a timely manner.  Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Hospital staff, patients and visitors as well as ensuring the physical security of all Hospital buildings and equipment.
Special Qualifications
IAHSS advanced and supervisors certifications, Crisis Prevention and Intervention certification (CPI), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR), FEMA certifications IS 106 Workplace violence training, IS907 Active Shooter: what can I do, IS100 Introduction to the incident command systems (ICS 100) for healthcare/hospitals, IS700 National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) an introduction, Restraint training certification or the ability to become certified in these areas within 6 months of hire. Physical Requirements

The job is required to exert physical effort by moving, lifting, carrying or pushing heavy materials/objects most of a normal workday.  The job is also regularly required to be exposed to a work environment which requires safety precautions to be taken.

Required Education
College degree, preferably in criminal justice or equivalent experience.
