Job Description
The Analyst is the primary application support and contact for specific Epic application(s). Works closely with others on the application team to coordinate all system issues that arise during the use of the application(s) by physician offices and hospital based clinics. Knowledgeable about the procedures, workflows, and business operations within the end users organizations. The analyst has in-depth knowledge of the software and serves as a bridge between the end users, vendors, and other IS support teams.
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in Mathematics or Computer Science or related field with one to three years experience as a Programmer Analyst, Support Analyst, or related position, preferably in a health care and/or hospital environment. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills required. Familiarity with a structured query language, UNIX and Microsoft platforms preferred. Experience in project management and presentation skills preferred. Knowledge of healthcare terminology and/or certification in Epic applications highly desirable.
