Job Description
Provide case management and support to students in a Recovery High School. Make assessments for substance use during school days and provide appropriate crisis interventions and risk management as needed to maintain a calm and safe environment in the school setting. Help maintain school rules and expectations. Help obtain drug screens for all the students. Help with family contacts and transportation to school for students when needed. Assist in guiding students towards healthy replacement activities in their community. Also develop and help plan field trips in the community. Help to coordinate with Recovery Centers and assisting students in attending NA/AA meetings. Complete recordkeeping in accordance with Health Information Services (HIS) and other Center requirements and abide by Center confidentiality policy.  Maintain cooperative relationships with Center staff, consumers, community agencies and the public.  Attend trainings, case presentations and conferences. Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field required. 2. Experience with a substance use disorder population or LCDP preferred. 3. Experience working in a school setting preferred. 4. Must have valid driver's license and insured auto.
