Job Description
We are seeking clinical therapist that will be responsible for the following: Department: Adult Services - Behavioral Health Outpatient program. It is located at 528 N. Main in Providence on the 4th floor. To provide outpatient psychotherapy either at The Providence Center or in the community. Perform a comprehensive psychosocial assessment of assigned consumers. Provide individual, group, and family mental health and/or substance abuse therapy in the community. Collaborate with other providers, agencies and individuals in the consumers' network of care. Maintain knowledge of the systems, services and resources available to the population and access them as needed. Communicate with various local agencies and individuals, as well as with Center staff. Perform record keeping in accordance with Health Information Services and other Center requirements. Attend trainings, case presentations and conferences. Maintain cooperative relationships with Center staff, consumers, community agencies and the public. ***please note that the person being hired cannot be a current CNE employee or an employee of any CNE operating unit
Required Education
Master degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field and relevant clinical experience with children and/or adolescents and their families. LCSW, LICSW, LMFT or LMHC preferred, as well as training/experience in substance abuse treatment. Must have experience with community based work and/or severely emotionally disturbed adolescents. Insured auto and valid driver's license. Fluency in Spanish - reading, writing and speaking
