The Teen Volunteer Program is designed to maximize hospital resources, provide educational programming, effectively integrate youth in service, and support a safe and secure work environment while exposing students to a variety of occupations in the health care industry. We value the contributions of our junior workforce and look forward to partnering with you.
High School students who have completed at least their freshman year are welcome to register for the Summer Teen Volunteer Program. Once they have successfully completed a summer program at a CNE hospital they are eligible to volunteer after school or in an internship capacity to reach school or graduation requirements.
Please note the timeframe to register and openings are limited, so we will update dates and programming information once set.
Students who have completed one year of high school, aspire to be part of the health care industry, and are able to make a minimum commitment of at least 4 months of consistent weekly volunteer service are eligible to participate in the program.
Summer Teen Volunteer Program
Openings for the summer volunteer program at Kent and Women & Infants have been filled and the program is now closed. We may have some volunteer positions for our younger (over 14 and completed freshman year of high school) available during the school year and will post further information about that programming this fall.
