Providence, RI — On Saturday, April 9th, at 1:00 p.m., the Spaulding Outpatient Center of Kent Hospital’s Providence location (100 Butler Drive, Providence, RI) will be hosting a complimentary Easter egg hunt for children with special needs. The rehabilitation center, along with many local organizations, planned the special Easter egg hunt for the enjoyment of children with special needs and their families.
The event will be held at the Spaulding Outpatient Center of Kent Hospital Providence at its newest facility, on the Butler Hospital campus. There will be games, Easter Bunny photo opportunities, refreshments, and a light lunch available for participants beginning at 12:00 p.m., with the hunt commencing sharply at 1:00 p.m.
“We are truly excited to be hosting this event. Our goal is to host an Easter egg hunt that is accessible to every child. I’ve been a part of similar events and parents would say how much fun their child had, how many eggs they found, and how they loved the prizes they won. It puts a smile on your face to see everyone having such an amazing time. We want the children with special needs in Rhode Island to have that same experience,” said Luke Davis, the Regional Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services at Care New England.
